Arenas

We have two arenas which are available for owners who have their horses grazing on our property, and for casual use.

Dressage Arena:

In Spring 2008 we put in a 60x40m outdoor Dressage Arena.  This arena has a sand and rubber base and we have dressage markers and a set of 10 jumps which are available to be used in the arena.  We usually have our jumps situated in the paddock just outside the arena as our soil type makes for ground which is free draining and great for horse legs. A few jumps are often placed inside the arena for schooling.

Lunging Arena:

We also have a covered Lunging Arena which also has a sand and rubber base.  This arena has a sprinkler system and is fully lit at night.  The round arena is 20 x 20m and is especially popular for schooling young horses, lessons for young children and of course, lunging!

Rates:

We offer our arenas free of charge to the owners of horses grazing on the property, and our arenas are also available for hire on a casual basis.

Casual use of facilities: 

We charge $10.00 per hour for the use of either or both arenas for casual use; however it is important that such session times are booked prior to arrival.

Bookings:

We would be open to casual riders bringing in their own instructors; although this would also be by prior booking.
