Grazing

About the Property:

It is 37 acres which is fully irrigated and is in the process of a re-grassing programme.  There are numerous paddocks (including stallion paddocks) some of which have wooden rails, most have higher fences and can be electrified if necessary.

We have 12 working stables (including 3 mare and foal and 3 stallion stables) together with tack and feed rooms which can be hired at an additional cost.

Agistment Rates:

Our agistment rates range from $40.00 to $60.00 per week per horse (depending on the facilities required) and we would be happy (at an additional cost) to hard feed your horse/pony in your absence. 

Requirements:

We do require owners to regularly “muck out” their horses paddock as it is our aim to keep our pastures clean and healthy. 

Please Note:

We have irrigation set up for all paddocks, so that hard feeding (except for winter) is optional throughout most of the year.

We would be happy to have horses grazing on a casual basis (minimum 2 nights) and will negotiate a suitable rate when requested, depending on the facilities required.

During busy times; such as HOY, we would be willing to allow horse trucks to park on our property so that owners can be near their horses (and have the use of our arena facilities) and our Homestay may also be available to rent during these times.

Any owners who have their horses grazing on our property also have the (free) use of our facilities; including our 40x60m sand and rubber arena, our 20x20m indoor lunging arena, wash down bays and toilet facilities.
