Tawa Stables Homestay

Our Homestay is perfect for a couple who are exploring Hawke's Bay and wish to have a quiet country base which is only 10-15 minutes (in all directions) from local attractions and towns. 

Location:

Our Homestay is located near Bridge Pa in the heart of the wine growing Ngatarawa Triangle and is less than a five minute drive to wineries such as Selini, Ngatarawa, Te Awa, Trinity Hill and Triangle Red; most of which offer beautiful dining.

Facilities:

The Homestay was been fully refurbished in 2008 and contains many new furnishings, including a King-sized bed so that comfort and a good nights sleep is assured.

The self contained accommodation is set among some picturesque stables on the property and well away from our home.  The Homestay is well away from the road and offers private parking and security.

Our kitchenette and lounge contain a microwave, toaster and all the usual kitchen facilities suitable for breakfast and a light meal – we would however suggest that you visit a local winery or restaurant for your main meals. We do offer a delicious full continental breakfast which you can enjoy at your leisure.

We have a television and DVD for your enjoyment and relaxation. 

Activities:

For the more active, we have two bicycles which can be hired (at a minimal cost) so that you can tour (and sample) six or more of our local wineries which are within a 5km radius. 

Keen golfers have the choice of three golf courses, two of which are within a two minute drive from the Homestay.  The Bridge Pa aerodrome is located nearly 3km away and offers trial flights, sky diving and gliding activities.

Tarriff: 

From $125.00 to $150.00 per couple per night from October to April. Our homestay is open all year around and reduced tariffs are offered during the winter months.

From $100.00 to $125.00 per couple if staying four nights or more. 

Deposit: 

50% of total tariff by personal cheque (if more than one week prior to stay) or directly into our bank account, the details of which we will supply upon confirmation of booking. 

Balance payable upon arrival.

Please note: The Homestay accommodation is non smoking and is not suitable for children, although child visitors are more than welcome.
